One of the things that can take while to figure out about London is how many private galleries there are with some amazing art. The Halcyon Gallery opened a huge new gallery in New Bond Street in December with the glass sculptures of Dale Chihuly, containing many site specific works. I wasn’t brave enough to pick up a pricing card – everything was just so stunning, beautifully displayed and well lit. Do go if you get the chance. Its open until March 31, 2012. The last two in this series – Citrine Fiori and Sapphire and Sky Blue Fiori were inside former strong rooms or safes, so probably best to avoid if you get claustrophobic. .jpg "chihuly_halcyon_1")
