Category Archives: Creativity Someone lovely in my life has a birthday in the coming week and they needed a birthday card. It didn’t turn out as planned in so many ways, but I like the finished result as it seems more appropriate than the original ideas – and they can be looked at again for someone else’s birthday….  I’ve been wanting to reuse some of the images created in the madeboard series and chose two of the blue leaves to create sheets of pattern – either for wrapping paper or to have printed as a photograph for a stationery idea. Despite working with the darker one for some time, I couldn’t make it…  2013 is going to be better organised than 2012. I already have two short breaks booked in for the first half of this year (hoorah!) and goals for the year and each quarter. I use an A4 filofax diary, this year with a day to a page so the whole day is on view and…  Being the start of the year, the office is having a bit of an overhaul. I’ve been sorting out my digital archive and want the office to be efficient and clean. The two trios of stacking metal containers with office supplies was a January sale buy a year ago – it had been a gift…  With off-cuts from the olive envelopes, I made these gift tags trimmed with orange thread.
